Meet Dr. Frederick Massar
Frederick Massar, DMD
After serving the Beaverton community for over 34 years, Dr. Massar has officially retired from practicing orthodontics. In May 2011, Dr. Massar handed over the reins to Dr. John Delplanche. Dr. Massar is very much enjoying the life of retirement and looks forward to traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. He and his wife, Sue, have recently purchased a home in Arizona and will spend part of their time enjoying the Oregon winter months in the sun.
Having grown up in the Raleigh Hills area, Dr. Frederick Massar has been a long time local resident of the Beaverton community. After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon in Eugene, he continued his education at the Oregon Health Sciences Dental School in Portland, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. In 1975, Dr. Massar graduated with the distinction “Outstanding Senior Dental Student”. In 1977, he completed an Orthodontic Residency program from Oregon Health Sciences Center and established his private practice shortly thereafter in Beaverton.
Dr. Massar loves the practice and is very happy that Dr. Delplanche is there to serve all of our wonderful patients and carry on the legacy of creating beautiful smiles!
